In addition to her extensive experience as a dancer, instructor and choreographer, Jess has always had a passion for athletics and fitness. She trained as an elite gymnast from the ages of 5 to 12 and then went on to compete at the provincial, national and international level in a variety of sports such as diving, soccer and sport aerobics.

Jess received her certification as a Personal Trainer from Canfitpro in 2021 and completed her yoga teacher training with Modo Yoga in February of 2022. She now teaches at Modo Yoga West Island and consults with dancers to create dancer training programs, helping them gain an edge outside the studio. In addition, prior to moving to Los Angeles, Jess received her Master’s Degree from Laurentian University in Human Kinetics, specializing in Sport Psychology. Through the Dancer Wellness Camp, which she founded in 2022 with partner Gabrielle O’Hara, Jess is sharing her wealth of knowledge gained throughout her studies and professional career to the up-and-coming generation of dancers through yoga, fitness and mindset seminars. She hopes to continue to lead the next generation to become healthier, smarter and stronger dancers!

Program 1: $160 +tax

- 30 minute consultation

- 1.5 hour personal training session

- 3 workout plans for 1 month period:

o   Workout 1: focused on endurance

o   Workout 2: focused on isometric strength + resistance

o   Workout 3: focused on explosive strength + power

- 1 flexibility/mobility plan

- Monthly calendar outlining how many times weekly to complete your workouts & flexibility/mobility plan to achieve your discussed goals

-Includes: 2 yoga blocks + Resistance bands

- Subsequent programs $80 +tax / Subsequent personal training sessions $50 +tax —> save $30

Program 2: $135 +tax

- 30 minute consultation

- 1.5 hour personal training session

- 2 workout plans for 1 month period:

o   Workout 1: focused on endurance

o   Workout 2: focused on strength & power

- 1 flexbility/mobility plan

- Monthly calendar outlining how many times weekly to complete your workouts to achieve your discussed goals

- Subsequent programs $75 +tax / Subsequent personal training sessions $50 +tax —> save $10

Please note that you may choose to keep the same monthly plan for up to 3 months. If you choose not to renew after the 3 month period, you will not be able to redeem the discounted rate for subsequent program plans

Personal Training & Small Group Training

Jess offers a variety of packages for personal and small group training sessions. Whether you’re just getting started on your fitness journey or fitness has always been a part of your life, Jess is here to help you achieve your fitness goals. Personal training sessions include; a consultation, one on one 1-hour training sessions and an at home workout plan. Group training sessions include; individual goal setting, 1-hour group sessions (up to 6 people) and an at home workout plan. Private & Semi-Private Yoga sessions

Whether in a yoga studio or in your home, Jess will come to you to offer private or semi-private yoga sessions. If you’re wanting to work on your practice in a more intimate setting than a class provides, Jess is there to provide you with hands on adjustments, tips & tricks for certain postures, opportunities for you to dive deeper into your practice & much more. Mindset Seminar

Athletes often acknowledge that much of their sport requires mental focus & strength. In fact, they often agree that it requires just as much, if not more mental toughness than physical strength. However, we often prioritize training our physical bodies over training our mental strength. With a background in sport psychology and a master’s degree in human kinetics, Jess offers mindset seminars to athletes or teams looking to improve their mental toughness and gain a mental edge over their competitors. Some popular topics include; goal setting, performing under pressure, managing stress, competition & pre-competiton plaining, visualization, and dealing with setbacks.
